Every puppy you meet at the HelpAWS Puppy Café has a story.
Some were abandoned. Some were born on the streets. Others came to us sick, injured, malnourished or simply unwanted. Many have never known what it feels like to have a safe home, a comfortable bed or a family to call their own.
At HelpAWS, their story begins to change.
From the moment they enter our care, our team works to give each animal everything they need to heal and prepare for a better future. That may mean veterinary treatment, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritious food, rehabilitation, socialization and, most importantly, the time and attention they need to learn that people can be kind.
For some puppies, that transformation happens quickly. For others, it takes patience. But every one of them deserves the opportunity to become the happy, confident, loving dog they were meant to be.
The Puppy Café was created to help make those second chances possible.
