Meet Jessie.

Jessie’s start in life at the shelter was a little different than most. She came into our care before she ever opened her puppy eyes, after her mother was found near a cemetery, alone, cold, hungry, and pregnant searching for a safe place to give birth. A kind stranger reached out for help, and our team immediately stepped in to bring her mom to safety. Jessie and her siblings were later born at the shelter, surrounded by care, warmth, and protection. From the very beginning, Jessie’s life has been shaped by compassion.

Growing up in the shelter meant Jessie was constantly surrounded by people, attention, and affection and it shows. She’s a confident, fun, and active girl who connects quickly with those around her. Jessie can be vocal and expressive, always eager to communicate and be part of the action. While she loves to run freely in the yard and stay active, her absolute favorite thing is belly rubs. She’ll happily flop over at any opportunity, inviting affection and returning it tenfold.

Jessie would thrive in an active home that enjoys spending time outdoors and including their dog in daily activities. She brings joy, energy, and affection wherever she goes, making every moment brighter. Jessie is ready to take everything she’s learned about love and share it with a family of her own.
