This is sweet and soft Bear!

Bear came to the Shelter when he was brought in by his owners. They were no longer able to care for him, so we gladly accepted him into our safe shelter and were so appreciative the owners cared enough to not just dump him.

Bear is a sweetheart, but still a little nervous. He takes a moment and needs just a little time to warm up to new people and surroundings. Once he feels comfortable, though, he is very affectionate. He gives soft nose boops that will melt your heart. He does love meeting new dogs and enjoys playing in the yard with them.

He is motivated by food and treats, so should be easy to train. He is quite eager to please, as well, and responds well when he realizes he has made his humans happy. His short coat is mostly black, with tan splotches of color throughout, and adorable floppy ears. Is Bear the love-bug you've been searching for? He's ready to be welcomed into his new home!

• Actual Weight: 35-45 lbs.
