It was just another day at the shelter when Lacey and her siblings were dropped off at the shelter like mere trash in a box. They were covered in fleas and ticks, scared and cowering into the corners of the box trying to hide. There was no notice from the individual who dropped them off, no details about where they came from, their age nor the whereabouts of their mother. We had no choice but to take them in with no notice and give them all the love and attention they needed. They were malnourished and clearly starving, given by how quickly they ate the food placed down for them. It didn't take long for our Pixel to grow his confidence however, being the most outgoing and confident of his siblings! Pixel has white markings on his chest, which can give the allusion that he's wearing a tuxedo! It's so cute! Who says black dogs aren't the most beautiful? Pixel rivals that thought process for sure… He has dreamy black eyes that will melt even the coldest of hearts. Like his brother Maui, he is very attention orientated and loves spending time with people. He loves to climb up on your lap and receive as many belly rubs as you're willing to give him. He is extremely outgoing with people, and often demands attention and cuddles. In fairness, none of the team can refuse him- he's just so sweet! He has a very close bond to his brother Maui, and loves to playfight with, especially over toys! He's very food orientated- and meal time is definitely his favourite part of the day! When he's not playing or receiving love, or even waiting for food, he's curled up in a ball and sleeping with all of his siblings. Their litter has a very tight bond and is a joy to watch. Pixel is a complete sweetie and needs his forever home. Will you be the one to give it to him?
