Garfield showed up one day on a dirt road near a volunteer’s house and has been charming people ever since.

Garfield is a laid-back orange cat who enjoys the simple things in life: good food, long naps, and a quiet lap to relax on. Like the kitty he’s named after, he loves to eat and may ignore you when you call him, but that is just part of his charm. Independent and unbothered, Garfield moves at his own pace and does things when he feels like it. Don’t we all wish we could be a little more like Garfield?

That said, Garfield definitely has a soft side. He enjoys love and attention, and his calm, easygoing nature is sure to bring constant happiness to the person lucky enough to welcome him home.
