  • These guys were brought from the South East of the island. The journey to get to the shelter wasn't an easy one as the drive is a little over an hour long. When they got to us their bellies were very big, they were filled with worms. We immediately got to work giving them meds and getting some food into them. Ariel was extremely timid from the beginning, who can blame her; the ride to get to the shelter as well as her poor living conditions before she was brought to us were very bad. She absolutely loves food and always gets her very own ring at feeding time. Training would be super easy with this girl. She likes running around with her siblings and penmates but her squeaky toys are where her heart is. She will spend hours playing with her favorite one. She is slowly coming out of her shell but is still very timid. She needs a family who is patient, supportive and who can teach and show her that the world is not a bad place. She often runs to her dog house or over to a corner when she sees humans but lots of treats and delicious food will have her eating out the palm of your hand in no time. Literally. She would do great in a home with another pup to help her come out of her shell a bit more and be a more confident girl. We estimate her to be between 30-45lbs.
