FLOKI

This big guy was found on the side of the road on a busy highway, thrown away like trash. He was so skinny and malnourished you could see every bone on his body, he was weak and had given up. Floki is BIG boy nowadays, weighing in at 70lbs. Although he is big, he’s a huge, sucky baby who loves to give big, wet, slobbery kisses. He tests boundaries, but also listens well when given direction. He is currently living at a board and train facility in Canada, as we have had no luck finding a foster or adopter for him. Floki is easily aroused when there is a lot going on, so a quiet stable home would be perfect for Floki. As excited as he gets, he just as easily calms down, and remains chill for long periods of time. He knows basic commands, such as “sit” and “down”, and has good recall and is learning other commands. Because of his size, he needs a human who is a strong lead, and keeps things calm and chill! Floki has been in our care since February 1st, 2022 and our greatest wish would be to have him adopted before he’s been with us for a year! The continuance of professional training will be a requirement of Floki’s adoption, and we are dedicated to helping his new owner through any challenges and or obstacles. Also as part of the adoption interview process, applicants (all members of the household) will be required to participate in three, 1 hour “meet and greet” sessions with Floki and his trainer to ensure Floki and his prospective forever family are a good match.

Floki is a big love bug at heart and deserves so much more.
